about

Composed by catholics leader Lloyd Swanton, originally for noted mid-80s Sydney hard-edged jazz act, The Benders, but not recorded by them.

The original bass and drum groove, but not the melody, became the basis of The Necks' first single-track album, Sex, which has gone on to become something of a cult classic. Swanton felt that he still had a perfectly good melody on his hands, so he devised a slightly different rhythmnic groove for this recording.
